Still, the circumstances may present themselves where there was a default judgment or otherwise, and this special motion needs to be filed. Since an eviction can stay on your credit record for life["blacklisting"], and prevent you from getting the better apartment deals, this is no silly motion. The cost is nominal compared to the higher rent you could pay for not having it done.
